About the Reviews

First of all we would like to say hi to all you people out there especially the gamers. We consider our selfs gamers by nature. We don't get paid by some company to give them a good rating our rating are done by you the gamers who really play the games. Now we could do alot of reviews about games that the magizines have done but then we wouldn't be any different then them. So to be more practical we will do our reviews not just on retail games but mods and addons for games as well.

Review Criteria

The reviews are done with average home pc's that in our case is a AMD K62 450/550 with 128MB ram and a 16MB VooDoo3 2000 video card. The multiplayer aspects of the game are tested with a cable modem because lets face it most gamers use a cable modem or something else equally fast . We will not be spouting off about frame rates and textures and pixels and all the rest of the crap that most review sites go on about, instead were are going to be practical about it .

 

a) Will the game run well on our average PC ? or will you need the latest and greatest hardware and a massive video card just to boot the thing up ?

b) Does the game look good ? are the graphics done well ?

c) How much space does the game need to install on your hard drive ?

d) Is the game fun or boring ? does it seem to be a rip off of another more popular game ?

e) Are there bugs or other aspects of the game that prevent the gamer from getting full enjoyment from it ?

f) Is it worth your hard earned money ? prices will be in Canadain dollars and we will quote the lowest price we can find in our local area (Ottawa On).

g) Does the multiplayer aspect of the game run well ? This of course will depend on weather or not the game has multiplayer at all.

There may be other criteria to concider depending on the game but these will be the main aspects evaluated. Our reviews are REAL WORLD and will be WRITEN IN PLAIN ENGLISH.
