All our tests are done on cable you may not like progress but that’s just to bad get with the program. We here like to play a lot on the net we use that for are stress relief and I don’t care what any shrink will say when you go online and blow people to little pieces you tend to be a little more relaxed and stress free ha ha ha.
Anyway back to the program here when we acquired this devise we were skiptical about how well the device would work we feared we would loose valuable band width which as you may or may not know you need lots of when playing online if your using a modest size system with a dial up connection you have to watch for that stuff.
Overall I was very much impressed with it. It was an easy strait forward set up and you don’t need to be a brain surgeon to do it. All you needed was to have a hotmail account which of coarse 99% of us do (don’t tell my wife) or a passport what ever that was the set-up also even had the configuration of how to hook it up on your system as you were following the instructions. So as for the hook up strait forward no problem.
Once hook up we easily found each other online and began one of our good pass times killing one another (Bragging Rights) we found that there was NO sign of this device taking away any band width what so ever. We were happy we could do all the killing we wanted to do with out having to turn something down to make it work and are wife’s were happy that we didn’t tie up the phone for hours on end we were happy.
Now mind you there was this article in this magazine no names (pc gamer) that were leaning more to the game commander. I wonder who paid for that article? We have been using this device for at least a month now and I have no complaints. On one occasion I was running a sever with 4 people on playing also we were all connected to each other with the game voice and one of them was using the software version only and we had a good night of killing with out trying to figure out what the other person was going to do you knew because he was able to tell you. Also we would like to add that the quality and clearness of the game voice was no different then using your own telephone which of coarse is another plus . There was only one thing that we found to be a problem and that was when the program went in it would default your mic to mute Leave your mic that way we found that if you don’t leave your mic on mute you will get a lot of echo echo echo. Other then that the program and game voice work quite well and we hear at PC Performance like that, plus it only goes for $69.99 on a regular bases if you hold out a little bit you might get it cheaper so have fun, and now you can even talk to the guy you been sparing with for so long
Shoot you later--B
